I've been getting some flack from a commenter named Mollie (see comments from post below). I had mentioned I had a hate-on for Bugaboos, a fact that I may have somewhat exaggerated, and she is not happy with me. It looks like I may be offending all the Rebecca Eckler fans yet again.
Yes, Bugaboos are nice. Yes, I am somewhat envious because it's not easy for me to drop a grand on something like that. But the reason I have a dislike for SOME Bugaboo pushers, well I blogged about that here months ago.
I have really rich friends and I have really poor friends. What I don't have are the kinds of friends who would avoid getting to know someone based on their shitty stroller. And though I'm far from perfect, I am trying to learn from these experiences and not be a reverse-classist. So what do y'all think, should I meet this woman in the park like she's offering? Or am I reading her comments wrong (I am too trusting) and she's just fucking with me?
